Peer Review
As a member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), our firm is required, as a condition of membership, to participate in a practice monitoring program known as peer review. As such, our quality control system is reviewed once every three years to make sure that we are performing and reporting on accounting and auditing engagements in conformity with applicable professional standards.
Furthermore, our firm is also a member in the Private Company Practice Section (PCPS) of the AICPA. Designed to meet the needs of local and regional firms such as MillerSearles, membership in the PCPS is strictly voluntary, but carries with it the requirement that the results of our peer review be made public.
